Victor Moses To Pledge Allegiance To Nigeria

Wigan Athletic youngster Victor Moses is on the verge of answering a call-up from Nigeria for the 2010 World Cup, after being snubbed by England Under-21 boss Stuart Pearce, according to The Mirror.

The U-21 gaffer stuck with his old favourites last week, and Moses is consequently believed to be frustrated with his situation in the youth set-up.

Although the 19-year-old has displayed the kind of potential that has prompted critics to speak highly of him, the lure of playing in South Africa is believed to be proving harder to resist following the snub from Pearce.
Moses can claim allegiance to the land of his birth, Nigeria, since he has only represented England at youth levels.
