TRADITIONAL RULER HAILS AKPABIO ON UYO NUNG UDOE ROAD PROJECT

The Ikot Obio Offong community in Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area has saluted the administration of Chief (Dr.) Godswill Akpabio, the State Governor, for the award of contract for the dualization of Uyo/Nung Road saying that when completed will reduce accidents on that road.

This is contained in a solidarity message jointly signed by the Village Heads of the area, Eteidung W. Ubom, Mr. Bassey Okon Idim, Chairman Village Council and Asuquo Essien Usanga, Secretary Village Council and sent to the state governor particularly over the development of infrastructure by his administration.
While describing the dualization project by Chief (Dr.) Akpabio as a clear demonstration of love his administration has for the people of Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area and however, pledged support to Chief Akpabio administration and his second term bid.

While rating Governor Akpabio high on massive construction of both primary and secondary schools across the state and the on going free and compulsory education policy, they appealed for the renovation of Ikot Obio Offong Primary School to enable their children benefit from the ongoing programme.
They also appealed for a transformer for the installation of the light in the area.
