IBAM IKPE COMMUNITY SCORES AKPABIO HIGH ON ROADS PROJECT

The Ibam Ikpe Annang Ukana Ikot Ntuen Afaha Ikot Ebak/Nto Nsek road project courtesy of the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Chief (Dr.) Godswill Akpabio administration has received appreciation from Executive Village Council of Ibam Ikpe Annang in Essien Udim Local Government Area.

This is contained in a message of congratulation endorsed by the Traditional Ruler, Village Head of the area, Chief Asuquo Udo Ekong, and the Chairman village Council Elder Daniel Udo and Secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Effiong, on behalf of the Community to Governor Akpabio.

In the message, the people said the road being one of the roads constructed in Akwa Ibom by Akpabio-led administration will bring the residents of the area into the mainstream of socio economic activities.

On the development of infrastructure in all the schools across the state, the village council called the attention of Interministerial Direct Labour Coordinating Committee to also extend similar gesture to their primary school, to enable their children jointly benefit from the ongoing free and compulsory education policy in the state.

While congratulating Governor Akpabio for the award of a Transformer in their area, they also drew the attention of the ministry of Rural Development for additional transformer to enable the entire Ibam Ikpe Annang to be fully electrified like what is obtainable at other communities in Akwa Ibom.

The people also used the opportunity to appeal to the State Chief Executive for a good source of drinking water and Skill Acquisition Centre that will assist jobless youths in the area to avail themselves of different trades of their choice with a view to minimizing crime rate in the area.

They however declared their unalloyed support to Chief Akpabio's administration as their illustrious son and his second term bid.
The village council chairman also appealed to the State Police Command to assign competent security operatives to the village to enable them beef security in the area.
