His words: “I respect Obong Attah, and I would want every Akwa Ibom person to do that irrespective of status and rank. I always weep anytime Obong Attah is insulted by people who lack integrity and focus in the society. The only thing we should do is to respect and reverence Attah as a father, institution and regard him as model as the Yorubas would do to their icons and heroes”.
Concerning Senator Udoedehe's guber aspiration, the grassroots politicians said nothing can stop the Senator from becoming the governor of Akwa Ibom State from May 2011.

Yes, the people of the State are ready for positive change and to enthrone Senator Udoedehe since he is the only one with the political will to free the State from kidnapping, hunger, unemployment and political killing. Do not be afraid of the power of incumbency because it was all in the pass, the people are now enlightened, and have resolved to change this government. You know, the voice of the people is the voice of God”, the MAMSA boss said.
Comrade Charles Nkan further stated that MAMSA is poised to sensitize the people for free and fair election to enthrone Senator Edehe as governor in 2011. According to him, an estimated 800,000 people across the State from the group are drumming support for the Senator adding that before the PDP nomination draw near, the targeted 2.5million man will be achieved.
