UDOEDEHE AMBASSADORS Ikot Ekpene Senatorial Distict

LETTER OF APOLOGY TO DISTINGUISHED SEN. JOHN JAMES
AKPANUDOEDEHE AND ARC. (OBONG) VICTOR ATTAH
On behalf of the entire people of Annang land, the teeming unemployed and suffering youths of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District, in Akwa Ibom State , we wish to sincerely apologize to our mentor, the Distinguished Senator John James Akpanudoedehe and our very highly esteemed and respected stateman, Arc. (Obong) Victor Attah; whom we today see as the FATHER OF MODERN DAY Akwa Ibom State , A man that has lived his entire life for the development of the Akwa Ibom man, And a man that willingly, selflessly and against all odds promise to, and went ahead to hand over power to us, the Annangs.
This apology is coming as a result of some utterances credited to present day Government functionaries from Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District including Mr. Nse Ntuen, Chief Sunny Ibanga and Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem. We would have ignored this ranting of 'ants' before 'elephants', but for the purpose of clarity, we want to state as follows:
1. That the trio of Nse Ntuen, Sunny Ibanga and Emmanuel Enoidem are political puppets in the hand of their pay master whom we know very well. They lack the locus standi to speak for Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District since they have all failed us as representative of the people. The only dividend of democracy that someone like Chief Ibanga has given to us is the purchase of brand new cars to his numerous girlfriends in exchange for sex. Such a character can never speak on our behalf.
2. That the trio that made careless remarks about the world acclaim Reception/Public presentation organized for our principal, (an event that shook the entire foundations of Akwa Ibom and signaled the deliverance of Akwa Ibom people from the pangs of poverty, insecurity, kidnappings, visionless and corrupt leadership of Gov. Godswill Akpabio) is a clear indication and display of fear of failure on the intimidating and overwhelming political profile of our principal that keeps rising by the day even here in Annang land.
3. We want to assure you, Sen. John Udoedehe, that Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District is 100% safe for your campaign as we will resist any move by these disgruntled elements with their cult boys to cause any mayhem in the entire Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District. We are solidly behind you and we are ready to vote for you en-masse as this is a matter of “Positive Change” and not an Annang or Ibibio issue at all. What awaits Gov. Godswill Akpabio is the “Tofa” treatment AS WE DOUBT IF GOV. AKPABIO WILL EVEN WIN HIS WARD COME 2011.
4. We as well want to remind the trio of Nse Ntuen, Sunny and Emmanuel Enoidem that the seat of Government is in Uyo Senatorial District. If you bar an indigene of Uyo, Your Landlord from campaigning in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial Distict, it looks laughable as our people say “Awo isitiehe ke odung ekom ita ekom”. Please think twice and borrow a leave from the biblical Johnathan who left a bad father, Saul and his sinking boat to support a better and more popular David for the Kingship of Israel.
5. The truth is that Akwa Ibom has suffered total decadence in the past 3 years in the hands of our brother, Gov. Akpabio. We all fought for and installed this Government with the belief that our brother together with these his cronies will use this unique office to salvage us from the pangs of poverty, but today that dream has been shattered and Akwa Ibom for these past years has moved from a small commercial hamlet to an ugly and over congested village with nothing to show except for littered roads, re-painted classroom blocks, and a parade of stupendous wealth by only the Akpabios. It is amazing that over the years, huge resources of Akwa Ibom have been carted away into private pockets and the people have been reduced to mere instruments of poverty with no hope of recovery. Our women are now into prostitution to make ends meet.
6. Have these three puppets bothered to ask our brother where he has kept the almost one trillion naira he has received in less than 3 years from Federal allocation alone, excluding internally generated revenue; yet there is still this hunger in the land? It will be stupid and obnoxious for us to keep dancing behind a failing leadership just for the sake of “my brother, my brother”. Enough of all these sycophancy.
7. We need to ask question on how our resources have been utilized. We have since become slaves in our land. It is our fervent prayer to God that this extreme greed and selfishness, deceit and wickedness which have consumed Nse Ntuen and co. in this state be revalued in their lives so that they will be transported from a people who lean more on falsehood to good instruments of truth and hope in the lands of the Almighty God.
8. Our happiness today stems from the fact that for about 3 years now, you, Sen. Akpanudoedehe has stood firmly for the truth, leaving no one in doubt about your commitment and compassion for the success of democracy. It is also on record that you have suffered various forms of humiliation and hatred from the present state leadership, which you singlehandedly installed. But despite these tribulations, you have been undaunted. We make bold to say that your soaring popularity in the state have been made possible by these untiring efforts of your detractors and their follies. They planned it for evil but the Lord turns it into good. This leadership of the wicked must give way to the leadership of truth and the people of Akwa Ibom will surely overcome the wicked. We the people of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District are solidly behind you.

Finally, we want the entire people of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District to know that 'a good friend is better than a bad brother' Senator John James Akpan Udoedehe, our in-law, is a man of vision. A great leader indeed, an optimist to-the-core, a man of profound integrity, an ardent performer, the Moses of our generation, and a firm believer in service to humanity. He has held several political offices cutting across the three tiers of government.

He once served as chairman of Uyo Local Government in Akwa Ibom State and was in the Senate from 1999 to 2003. When President Umaru Yar'Adua assumed office in 2007, he was appointed Minister of State for FCT. He is A MAN OF THE PEOPLE.
We in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District hereby declare and affirm our total support and massive followership to you come 2011.
Enough is enough!
