A Traditional Ruler and native Doctor in Ibam Ikpe Annang, Essien Udim L.G.A. Chief Asquo Udo Ekong has indicated interest. to complement the effort of medical Doctors in Hospitals in Akwa Ibom State in the treatment of different types of aliments that are health risk to the citizens.
Asuquo Udokong whose residence is situated opposite Ikpe Annang Community Bank at Ibam Ikpe in an interview with newsmen in the area said he has gotten about 80 years experience as an herbalist saying he has prefer solution to numerous heath challenges.
While listing various diseases which he has successfully treated, the herbalist said there was need to incorporate traditional medical practice into the conventional health practice for complementary effort.
According to Chief Ekong, the health sector must be strengthen for efficient service delivery to the public. He called for assistance from high spirited individual within and outside the state to acquire a functional laboratory for retiring his medications.
Chief Ekong however, made, a passionate appeal to the State Governor Chief (Dr) Godswill Akpabio being an indigene of the area, philanthropists, God Spirited, members of the public for financial assistance that will boost his services.
